The weekend is here, and that means it’s drop-in crafting time at TCL! Stop by between noon and 5:00 pm and crochet some flowers with us. Add a pin back and you can put a blossom on your bag or on your spring jacket… flowers liven up everything! (Must know simple crochet.) $15 for 2 flowers.
Put a little bling on your table! Stop by anytime between 12:00pm – 5:00pm to make some glitter eggs with us. We first offered this last year, and it was a HUGE hit with adults and kids alike. Your guests will “ooh” and “ah” when they see these beauties. The possibilities are endless — polka-dots, stripes, or all-over glitz… No skills necessary for this fun craft — just drop in and enjoy some eggceptionally sparkly fun. $10 for 3; $18 for 6
We are so excited to welcome Shaina Bilow, formerly of The Skein Attraction, to The Craft Lounge. Shaina is a Craft Yarn Council of America Certified Knitting Instructor, and she will be bringing her vast knowledge of all things knitting to TCL. Beginning Wednesday, March 30, she’ll be teaching in our shop and we couldn’t be more thrilled!

Bring any knitting or crochet project to this class and get the guidance of an expert for two hours. This is a great class if you want to learn a new technique, start a project beyond your current skill level, or get back on track with older projects. Anything goes! As we work together week to week, you’ll notice your skills and confidence growing.
We’re kicking off our Drop-in Saturdays crafting with polymer clay. Make charms, magnets, and even beads with this magic material. Jen will be on hand with some idea sheets and everything you’ll need to make some adorable pieces. Drop in anytime between 12:00pm and 5:00pm and get started! No registration necessary.

Good news for those of you with aspiring teen writers. I had to postpone my Teen Writer’s Workshop today because of the awful weather. We start next week on Wednesday, and we’ll meet for four Wednesdays in a row, 4-5pm. Each teen will bring a piece of writing in progress. As a group, we’ll discuss how to improve the pieces, and we’ll learn some writing tips that all writers know and use. Remember, this workshop is for FUN – this is not school-related. Great for kids who write for pleasure. Spots are still available, so sign up!
