Learn to Knit (Adults)
Mondays, September 20 & 27, 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Do you ever wish you could make those fun scarves
you see in magazines? Join the fun as we teach you the
basics of knitting. Learn how to knit, purl, cast on, bind
off, and measure your gauge. We will supply needles
and yarn to use during instruction. At the end of this
class, you'll be ready to start your first project!

Sew a Pin Cushion (Adults)
Tuesday, September 21, 7:30pm - 8:30pm

Pincushions -- they're incredibly handy, they're easy to
make, and they're charming, to boot. We'll take a page
out of Martha Stewart's Encyclopedia of Sewing and
teach you how to create these adorable tomatoes that
make a thoughtful gift or a lovely addition to your
sewing kit. All supplies are included.

Charitable Crafting: Chemo Caps
Saturday, September 25, 7:30pm - 9:30pm

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, TCL is
proud to sponsor our third annual Chemo Cap
charitable crafting event. Bring your knitting needles
and/or crochet hooks and use your yarn or ours to
make hats for neighbors in need. We'll have patterns
on hand, but feel free to bring your own.

Felted Soap Demonstration (Adults)
Saturday, October 9, 2:00pm - 6:00pm

It's a bar of soap! It's a washcloth! It's both! Come by
to see Susie demonstrate how to use raw wool
(roving) in luscious colors to cover soaps that you can
use in the shower, kitchen, or even to keep your drawers
smelling fresh. As the soap shrinks, the wool shrinks
with it; when the soap is gone, the scrubbie remains!
NOTE: This is not a workshop -- the demonstration
