Craft Camp! Join us for a fun-filled week of creativity. We'll
embark on some more involved projects, have some laughs,
and get messy. This camp is a great option to engage boys
and girls who are anxiously waiting for the pool to open for
the afternoon. Please send your child with a nut-free snack.

Knitting: Fixing Mistakes (Adults)

Tuesday, June 5, 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Learn to recognize and correct a twisted stitch; three ways
to pull back your knitting without losing stitches; and how
to drop a single stitch and pick it back up flawlessly. With
these skills comes the confidence to use them and dig into
more challenging projects. Homework: Using worsted weight
yarn and size 7 or 8 needles, cast on 20 stitches and work in
stockinette stitch (knit a row, purl a row) for 4". Do not bind
off. Bring the knitted piece on the needles to class with you.

We're all about upcycling at TCL. Let us show you how
to turn your old (or not-so-old), everyday t-shirt into
a fashion statement. Our inspiration sheets will help you
come up with a design that's uniquely yours. We'll supply
colorful bits and pieces to add to your shirt, and we'll
show you all the techniques you'll need to know for this
fun craft. Before you know it, you'll be reworking your
entire wardrobe! Please bring one t-shirt to reconstruct.
