February & March at TCL

Our famous Felt Bunnies workshop for kids is back!

It may not feel like it out there, but February has arrived, and March is just around the corner. We’ve got some great workshops happening during both months.  Come on by for a Spa Night — we had requests for a new one before the last one was even over! Or, let us show you how to refresh your look by turning old or broken jewelry into brand new show-stoppers with our Reinvent Your Jewelry class. We’ve even got a couple of new specialized knit & crochet classes with Shaina, plus Decoupage Treasure Box workshops for both kids and adults.
Also, there’s still space in Classmate Valentines (leave the glue and glitter to us and keep it off your dining room table!) and Beaded Earrings. And, of course, don’t forget about Drop-in Saturdays!

DROP-IN SATURDAY: Sachets

Come in out of the forecasted snow and make up a few little sachets with us. These sachets are easy to make and, stuffed with our homegrown lavender, they’ll make your dresser drawer (or someone else’s — they make a great little Valentine’s Day gift) smell like a French garden. So join us anytime between 12:00pm – 5:00pm on Saturday, January 21, and we’ll get you started! $20

Sunny Patch Clips have arrived!

We are so excited about the hair accessories by our new artist, Michelle, creator of Sunny Patch Clips. The clips and headbands are simply adorable in any little girl’s hair.  (Of course, some adults buy them for themselves —  we won’t say who…) And the best feature? Each clip has a soft gripping tape on the inside, so it won’t slide out of even the most baby-fine hair.

Domestic Goddess at The Craft Lounge

We are thrilled to be selling Domestic Goddess candles, made by Tiffany P., at The Craft Lounge! We had our first delivery yesterday, with a second shipment — including a men’s line — coming in today. Welcome, Tiffany!

Taking a little break…

We will be taking a little break and will be closed from 12/28 – 12/31. (Shaina’s Mixed bag WILL meet, as scheduled, on Monday 12/26 at 7:30pm.)

Thank you and happy holidays to all of our customers. This year has truly been a pleasure, and we look forward to continued good times with you in 2012.

Made right in nearby Englewood by Tom, Bodhi bath products will make you swoon. These soaps, shea butters, lip balms, and shaving kits are made with all natural ingredients and essential oils. They are perfect for sensitive skin, and the Sweet Feet gift set even comes with a pair of soft bamboo socks. Stop by and pamper yourself or someone else with these gorgeous products.

Countdown to Christmas: 2

We continue on our mission to fill the final ten shopping days to Christmas with handmade goodness.

Everyone knows about Crybaby Quilts baby items, but did you know that Corey also makes these fabulous reversible coasters, pouches, and toiletry bags? The pouches can be used for pencils, cosmetics, toothbrushes, or lunch utensils, and like the coasters, are made from BPA-free laminated cotton. Put a little color into your day with one of these babies!

Your kids might not know what LPs are, but YOU do… There may not be many turntables around anymore, but who says orphaned records should go to waste? Our friend Hope has turned her stash of records into these awesome bowls. We’re in love.

These ceramic vases by Jennifer are not only budget-friendly, but they cheer up a room during those dark winter months. Her mugs are equally festive, but you’ll have to come in quickly for one of those — they don’t stick around long in the shop!
