BOO!

Halloween is almost here and TCL is ready! Check out our Costume Inspiration Workshop (FREE!), Halloween Mask workshop, and Spooky Soapmaking, all happening this month. Fall into the Lounge!

We’ve had a great summer at The Craft Lounge — TCL Craft Camp was a big success with the kids, and we enjoyed having so many customers come in for private lessons in knitting, crochet, sewing, embroidery and more. It’s hard to believe that autumn is almost here, but we’re so excited for September! We have so much on the calendar, there’s bound to be something for everyone — kids, teens, and adults.

We’re gearing up for school and rolling out our brand-new TCL Craft Club for kids on Wednesdays. This month, the Craft Club will be doing lots of cool back-to-school crafts and next month will delve into spooky Halloween projects. Also, September is National Sewing Month, and we’ll be offering sewing classes such as Sew a Pillow to introduce you to this fun, practical craft. We’re also offering Needle Felting for Beginners, Knit a Bag, Simple Beading: Earrings, and much more! Our Drop-In Crafting program has been a huge hit and we’ll continue to offer this option, adding in t-shirt reconstruction and beading to the mix in September.

Cool off this summer at TCL!

Enough with the rain, already, right? Well, the good news is that it’s always bright and cheery inside The Craft Lounge! We’ve got a few new and fun things on deck for July. For example, TCL Craft Camp is a great way to add a dash of creativity to your kids’ summer without breaking the bank. Or, if you’ve been wanting to learn to knit, crochet, or sew, but haven’t had the time for a class, why not take a private lesson? Plus, don’t forget Writing for Fun, Not for Grades and a family-friendly reprise of Decoupage 101.

Also, coming soon… Drop-In Crafting: fancy flip-flops, fairy dolls, beading, embroidery, and much more!

Summer Fun!

Summer is upon us — dads, grads, fun in the sun, and don’t forget camp! If you’re looking for just a little something extra for the kids this summer, look no further. TCL Craft Camp is the way to go. Starting in July, TCL will be the place to be on Wednesday afternoons. Sign up for the first three weeks or for all six. Kids going to Wood Park Camp? We’ve got you covered! We’ll pick them up and walk them over to The Craft Lounge, where you can come get them when they’re done with their masterpieces.

Grand Opening!
